Installation Instructions

Once downloaded, follow these steps to install Webel:

Step 1: Extract the ZIP File

1. Locate the downloaded webel.zip file
2. Right-click and select “Extract All…” (Windows) or double-click (Mac/Linux)
3. Choose a location to extract the files

Step 2: Enable Developer Mode in Chrome

1. Open Chrome and go to chrome://extensions/
2. Toggle “Developer mode” in the top-right corner
3. The developer options will appear

Step 3: Load the Extension

1. Click “Load unpacked” button
2. Navigate to the extracted Webel folder
3. Select the folder and click “Select Folder”
4. Webel will appear in your extensions list

Step 4: Pin the Extension (Recommended)

1. Click the puzzle piece icon (🧩) in Chrome’s toolbar
2. Find “Webel” in the list
3. Click the pin icon to keep it visible in your toolbar
